CONCERT LOOK

CONCERT LOOK

Hey there, cutie! Welcome to La Vita Vivi!

This cute snakeskin combo is the look I wore to the Carrie Underwood: Cry Pretty 360 concert back in September (click here and scroll slightly past the middle to check out the footage I saved in my IG "Lifestyle" Highlight). The only piece I added that I didn't wear that day is the wide-brimmed black hat, but I thought it'd be cute for this post since #fallvibes.

Although I wasn't planning on attending the show since the initial ticket prices were a bit too high for me (~$400), I made the spontaneous decision to go literally an hour before the show started since I found a ticket wayyyy cheaper ($50 after tax)! With some encouragement from one of my besties, Taylor, I got ready in 10 minutes (Tarte Shape Tape Concealer + Benefit Precisely, My Brow Pencil + Milani Baked Blush (Belissimo Bronze) + L'Oreal Lash Paradise Mascara + Maybelline SuperStay Matte Liquid Lip (Dancer)) and headed over to The Staples Center to see Carrie.

Crazy enough, the concierge told me at check in that my ticket was actually in a VIP section and I found out soon after that the tickets in my suite went for over $1,000!!! Isn't that crazy??? The woman sitting behind me told me that for events at larger venues, she actually purposely waits about an hour before the show starts to see if there are any discounted ticket prices and then purchases them! As if I wasn't already excited enough to be there, getting VIP seats for a fraction of the cost was just icing on the cake.

I've been a Carrie Underwood fan since her American Idol days, so seeing her perform live has been one of my lifelong dreams. And yes, you bet I sang along with her on every song! While she's regarded as one of the best singers across all genres, I've always admired her as a person as well-the perfect blend of a classy and timeless woman who also has a super confident and sassy side. I can go on and on because she is literally my QUEEN (lol)-but I'll spare you and stop here. 😂💓

Moral of this story: Make more spontaneous decisions because you never know what cool and surprising things you'll get to experience-even if you have to go at it solo! It can actually be so empowering and fun to go alone and just enjoy yourself. And don't forget-wait to buy your tickets at events hosted in larger venues right before they start because they'll probably be way cheaper! 🙌🏻
