Today, I'm sharing one of my go-to meal ideas when I'm in a bind for time but I still want something healthy and delicious: wraps! It's also super quick to make since it doesn't require any cooking over heat.
Now I won't lie to you - although I enjoy healthy foods, whole wheat pastas aren't my favorite thing so I was worried to try the Ezekiel tortillas. But let me tell you that they are actually so yummy and are mild in the whole wheat flavor! I'm obsessed with Organic Ezekiel Sprouted Grain Tortillas lately, which is what I used as the actual wrap. The Ezekiel bread also tastes amazing and has such a great texture when toasted!
Now, on to what you're really here for - how to make these wraps! I just lay one tortilla down, add my sauces and condiments that I want that day, add my veggies and meats if I want any and close it all up. One tip that I always do is to add a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper over your veggies before closing the wrap. It brightens the flavor so much and makes it taste so fresh.
