Hey there, friend! Welcome to La Vita Vivi.
I hope you enjoyed my previous #lvvholidaygiftguide because I've got another one for you today - this time for the foodie! I know a lot of you love to cook or are trying to get into cooking, and this year in particular has given us some extra time to cook delicious meals at home. These kitchen tools are my tried and true favorites that I use on the daily to create all of my recipes I post on the blog and the meals I post on Instagram stories.
Whether you're shopping for a foodie or are one yourself, please use this guide as a resource to shop from (all widgets - or product images - are shoppable) or as inspiration to pull ideas from.
Now, on to what you're really here for - the awesome gift ideas for the foodie!
1: Shun Chef's Knife
If there is one kitchen tool to have above all else, it has to be the chef's knife. I mean, what can you really get done without something to chop and break ingredients down with, right? I did some research and found that Shun and Wusthof were two of the most prestigious knife brands out there. No matter which one you choose, your foodie will absolutely love their high quality knife that will make cooking that much more easy and enjoyable.

Every person needs to have a whetstone in their kitchen! This is the best way to sharpen knives and keep them in top condition to last for years. You can find tutorials online on how to properly sharpen cutlery with the whetstone, but it is very easy to do so don't be intimidated. This will be the perfect gift for anyone who wants to up their kitchen knife game.
3: Magnetic Knife Board
I absolutely adore my own magnetic knife board and recommend it to all my friends - so that means you guys too! 😉 It's the perfect way to store sharp cutlery like knives, scissors, pizza cutters and vegetable peelers. Not to mention, the sleek design makes kitchen tool storage just as aesthetic as it is functional.

4: Instant Pot
I did not think I would rely so much on the Instant Pot as I currently do, but boy do I recommend it for anyone who cooks a lot at home! Not only is it great for the obvious choices like soups and stews, but my favorite ways to utilize this device has been for potatoes and pasta! Potatoes can cook in as little as 10 minutes, and pasta in as little as 4 minutes! It makes putting dinner together that much easier and fuss-free since everything can cook in the Instant Pot.

The Nutribullet is perfect for your foodie if they want to get healthier and try some breakfast smoothies. It is also high powered enough that they can use it as a blender to make sauces like garlic aioli for sandwiches, chimichurri for steak, or balsamic vinaigrette for salads.
6: Air Fryer
You will be the gift giver of the year if you give one of your loved ones an air fryer - trust me! I love this one from Gourmia because the fryer basket makes me feel like I'm frying something as opposed to baking in a mini-convection oven. It's also super easy to use, heats things up so fast and makes all our food deliciously crispy without having to use as much or any oil!

7: Electric Whisk
If you've been following me for a bit, you might have seen this Zulay Kitchen whisk appear in one of my previous posts. I love using it to make drinks like chai lattes, hot chocolates or vegan matcha lattes super light and frothy. They're also great to quickly whip up salad dressings and marinades, too!

8: HexClad Hybrid Non-Stick Cookware
Another great gift would be this HexClad Cookware set. It's a bit on the pricier side compared to other items in this list, but it's well worth it. I use these every single day and am obsessed with the fact that they are NON-TOXIC in addition to being non-stick, dishwasher safe and oven safe. Plus, I love that the anodized surface allows you to use whatever material on the pans without worrying about damaging them!

9: Boos Cutting Board
Boos has been well-known for their high quality cutting boards for the past 125 years. Their cutting boards would be a great gift for first-time home owners as one of their first staple kitchen pieces. All their cutting boards are such high quality and have that amazing finish to them that will make any kitchen stand out.

Last but certainly not least, the Keurig is the perfect gift if you have a morning person or someone who works from home to shop for! I love that the Keurig makes drinks in literally no time, and that you can use the reusable filters if you want to brew your own coffees or loose-leaf teas.
