Equestrian style has been a long time personal favorite of mine since high school - probably a bit due to the horse riding culture where I grew up but also because it has always been timeless. It's also extremely functional during the colder and rainy months since the style typically involves longer sleeves, layers, and boots.<\/p>\n

I think a trusty pair of every day riding boots is the essential item to pulling off this style. I love these Tinsley boots<\/span><\/a> from ShoeDazzle because of the color and the simple design of the boot. I'm 5'2\" so the boots provide slightly more coverage over my knees, but not an overwhelming amount where I feel drowned out by them. These boots are incredibly versatile as well and can be styled in the classic equestrian manner over pants, or they can be worn under flowy dresses for a feminine but casual vibe, or with faux leather shorts for a modern date-night look.<\/p>\n
