Recently, I went to a surprise 70's-inspired birthday party for my friend and we all had to come dressed up in our best themed attire. I always like dressing up but in a wearable way, mostly because I like working with what I have in my closet. It saves money and time if you're cutting it close to your party, which was what compelled me to just figure out an outfit with regular clothes in my closet. I think this look really is transformed with the Baublebar hoop earrings. The soft metallic top gives a subtle nod to disco vibes, but the addition of these earrings really brings it to that 70's era for me.

I almost forgot the best part of the party - it was also at a roller skating rink! I haven't been to one of those in YEARS and it was such a fun party activity/idea. I highly recommend it as a setting for a birthday party, bonding activity, staff outing...you name it! (Click here to check out photos from the day of!)
