This is one of my favorite desserts to make because it's so easy but incredibly delicious! It's perfect as a date night dessert for Valentine's Day or as a weeknight snack.
The first step is to make the whipped cream. Whipped cream is such a simple thing to make at home - just whisk heavy cream the cream starts to build some texture and becomes fluffy. You can add sugar or honey but I actually prefer a simple whipped cream without any sweetness so it's a lot more delicate. Once the whipped cream has been made, set it aside until it's time to assemble the pudding layers.
Next you combine the Greek yogurt, honey, vanilla extract and vanilla pudding powder together. I think the pudding mix is the secret ingredient because it provides the sweetness and texture you're looking for in the end result. The next step is for the star of the show: sliced bananas. Once the bananas are placed, spread the pudding mixture in a single layer in the bottom of a baking dish. I like using Pyrex baking dishes with lids for easy storage. The next layer is more sliced banana and then the whipped cream goes on top. Finally, add a layer of crushed graham crackers - or you can use vanilla wafers. Refrigerate the pudding for at least 2 hours before serving so the pudding can set and so the flavors can develop.
