If you’ve been keeping up with Fashion Weeks across Milan, New York and Paris, you’d notice a special pop of color this year. Pantone released its 2018 color of the year and I’m super excited to share how to incorporate it into your own wardrobes.
The Pantone color of 2018 is: ultra violet!
I’ve been trying to push myself and try different colors other than black (although you can never go wrong with black!) since that has been my staple color for sooo long. I really fell in love with the purple color of this strappy bodysuit because the pastel shade allows you to wear it in a casual way. I think it looks particularly summery and fresh with light blue denim, which is why I picked the mid-waisted elastic skirt. The elastic material makes it sooo comfortable, which is super important to me even when I want to look put together. Since I want to elongate my legs, I chose these neutral mules from Born that have quickly become an everyday staple for me.
This look is perfect for a fun day by the pier (My favorite is Santa Monica Pier because of all the rides and the delicious hotdogs at Japadog!), or a date night in the city. The tight fit is sexy but the creamy pastel makes it feminine and soft. I love this look so much, and I’ve been wearing variations of it with different bodysuits because the weather here lately in SoCal has been asking for fun and flirty outfits.
Thanks so much for reading! This look is making me so stoked for summer, and I can’t wait to show you more! I want to know-are you into the Pantone Color of the Year, or is it not your thing? Let me know in the comments section! I can’t wait to hear from ya 😉
You look fab in that lavender top babe!
Thanks, girl!!! <3
