I will openly admit, working out consistently has always been a struggle for me.

The only time I regularly worked out was back when I was in the high school cross country team. Since then, college has definitely not been a time where I focused on my health and fitness (lol…Does anybody?). I know a lot of us struggle to find ways to be more fit that actually work for us, especially if we don’t necessarily enjoy “the burn” or whatever it is that we’re supposed to like :/

I’m not saying I don’t feel amazing after working out. It just takes a lot of motivation and extra tools to get my butt in the gym in the first place. If you’ve ever been in a similar boat, I’m really excited to share this app that has been helping me work out consistently for the first time in my life.

The app is called: ClassPass. ClassPass allows you to find new studios and gyms near you without having to sign up to each one individually. You can tailor your search by location, studio type, class times, class type, fitness goals and more. You can start a free trial, and invite your friends to receive $40 credit for yourself!

BTW-This post isn’t sponsored by the app. I just love it so much that I wanted to share! 🙂

Choose a monthly plan. You can change your plan right away or wait until the next cycle to implement it. I love it because it’s really easy to work with and allows me to customize the plan based on my budgetary needs!

You can purchase add-on packs if you don’t need enough to upgrade up a level on the monthly plan. It’s a great alternative and can help you save some bucks!

Choose classes by date, class type, or studio! You can use the filter (red check icon) to hone in specific parameters such as time, location, spots available, activities, amenities and level.

I love this app because it gives you so much information so you really know you’re spending your hard-earned cash on quality classes. You can look at reviews, information on the specific studio, and how the studio recommends you to prepare before the class.

Your profile gives you access to your past workouts, any favorite studios or classes (Mine is the spin class at Coreology Fitness in Palos Verdes!), and friends you connect with on the app.

I hope this was helpful and informative for some of you! This app has made it incredibly convenient for me to choose when I want to exercise, and I think the ease of it has really helped my mentality towards working out. Since I have a more “enjoyable” experience because it’s so easy to join a class, I’m more likely to work out and then look forward to doing it again.
The class environment has also helped me push myself mentally. I found that being surrounded by other people who are working hard motivates me to go harder during class. The instructor is also guiding you with loud, exciting music and constant words of encouragement. I have found that it has improved my positivity so much because the way she tells us to “keep going”, that we are “strong and powerful” and that “we can do this” is the same voice I hear when I need to pick myself up if I’m having a bad day. I’m so thankful I found this app because it not only helps me live a healthier lifestyle, but it has helped me practice self-love in a way that I didn’t realize I needed or wanted.
I really hope you give this app a try. If you do, I’d love to know how it goes in the comments section! Or if you want to share any tips of your own, please feel free to leave a comment as well 🙂 Have a great day, babes!
