HEALTHY SNICKERS

It's almost the New Year...can you believe it?? I thought I'd end 2022 with a sweet treat but upgraded to a "healthier" version: Healthy Snickers.

The star of this treat is the medjool date. After pitting each date, stuff them with a pat of peanut butter, a couple chopped walnuts and salted caramel. Cover in a coating of milk chocolate and sprinkle liberally with Maldon Sea Salt before refrigerating for 15-20 minutes or until the chocolate hardens. This is a wonderful snack or healthy dessert that has an extra bit of goodness packed into it. I think the key is the salt because it counteracts the sweetness of the rest of the ingredients and leaves you wanting more. You have to try this out and let me know what you think!
