The New Year is quickly approaching and many use this as a reminder to kick start getting healthier. My view is instead of a "removing" mindset - I like to think of adding nutritious foods to my rotation so that I have an overall balanced lifestyle. These superfood truffles are such an easy way to get some vital protein, vitamins and antioxidants into your body.
To make the truffles essentially just mix the ingredients together and roll the mixture into small spheres before rolling them each in toppings. You're looking for a "wet sand" texture that can form into spheres easily and is slightly damp to the touch so that the toppings can stick on to each sphere. My favorite toppings are cocoa nibs, hemp hearts, coconut flakes, matcha powder and cocoa powder - but you can use any toppings you'd like that would stick on to the truffles.
