DAY
When you’re in a pinch for some change in your wardrobe but don’t have the time or money to buy something new, figuring out ways to style the same item can be your lifesaver. I admit it does take a little extra creativity and effort, but it’s a fun way to change up your style while saving some money!
This tunic dress is so flowy and breathable, which is why I love it. It’s elegant enough to elevate your style, but it’s also super comfortable. Comfort in the day time is always the number one priority, and it should be since you have other things to worry about than if your outfit is cooperating with you!
Do you ever save items and are so surprised you actually ended up using it years later? Well, this necklace is that piece for me. I got it in high school and haven’t found a chance to wear it since my style has changed so much since then. I thought it would look cute with this dress and it’s easy to just throw on in the morning.
If you’re looking for a true day time shoe, mules are
the way to go! I am in
love with
Born open toe mule that I picked up from Nordstrom Rack. (Click
here to check out another look with these cuties!) I chose this color so that it can create the illusion of longer legs (always a must for this shorty lol) and it’s easier for every day wear.
As always, I finished off this easy look with my Tory Burch mini tote. (Click
here to check out another look with my fave bag!) I’m currently in the hunt for a new every day purse, so if you have any suggestions on a durable and versatile bag, let me know in the comments section! This look is perfect for work if you want to be comfy (the dress hides that food baby perfectly hehe) but stylish at all your meetings throughout the day!
To keep warm in your office or if you have to go out to run an errand, I threw on this thin cream jacket. I literally wear this once a week because it’s the perfect piece for places like church where I have to cover up a little more. It goes with literally everything so you’ll definitely get so much wear out of this one item.
NIGHT
Now you’re off work and it’s time to look cute for tonight! The quickest way to transform this dress was using a belt. Just use anything you have at home; if you don’t like the design, just pull the dress over the belt so you can’t even see it. I decided to show mine so that it can very obviously synch in the waist since there’s quite a bit of fabric by the bottom.
^My face waiting for babe to pick me up for our dinner date (lol).
It’s so easy to just take off the necklace, add some earrings and belt off the dress. You could keep the mules from the day look, or make it a little more sophisticated with strappy sandal heels. My faves are these
Steve Madden Fame heels which you’re probably sick of by now but they really are my top pick for so many outfits! (Click

Changing up accessories is the next fastest way to transform your look from day to night. I chose these gigantic
gold hoops to create a sexier, night time vibe. I feel like I’m ready for a night of drinks and dancing with these hoops on!
I hope you found this post useful! This has definitely inspired me to look at my current wardrobe in a different way. One of my favorite things about fashion is that there are so many possibilities if you allow yourself to get creative and to think outside of the box. It’s easy to wear our clothes how we regularly do, but you might be surprised with how many different options you could come up with. If you want to recreate your own look, I picked out a bunch of different tunic dress options for you all as well as the accessories, so click away! I hope you find something you like and will last you a looonngg time with all those new possibilities. 😉
What are some of your favorite ways to change a look from day to night? I’d love to know. Let’s talk in the comments!
