Hey there! Welcome to La Vita Vivi.
This look is a bit of a throwback from earlier this summer, but I wanted to share it before the cooler months start to take over! Ruffles are so in lately, especially ruffled sleeves on pretty white tops. You can literally pair them with any type of bottoms like this gray high waisted skirt for an edgier feel. Or, pair it with high waisted light denim jeans for a laid back, more casual vibe. I wore this look to a night out on the pier, and got so many compliments on it! I think the ruffles really played into that girly, feminine and romantic feel that's perfect for a date night by the beach like Santa Monica Pier, or a sunset stroll along the Hermosa Beach boardwalk.
For accessories, I chose white tassel earrings and silver accents to play off the neutral vibe of the white top and gray bottoms. These silver block heels by Abound (click here and here to check out more looks with these silver beauties) compliment the silver detailing on the Michael Kors purse. You can go any direction you want, like swapping out the silver block heels for a nude heel like my trusted nude Steve Madden Fame heels (click here, here, here, here or here to check out more looks with these heels).
As we quickly approach fall, there's this transition period that happens not only in the seasons, but within us as well. We get excited to bring out our sweaters and scarves, and to dive into everything pumpkin for fall. I think that speaks to a larger narrative of us being naturally excited for change. We need things to be mixed up, tossed around, and evolving in order for us to feel energized about life. As we enter into this new season very soon (September 22nd is the official first day of fall!), let's get excited for all the changes and opportunities that appear and take full advantage of them. ♡
